"Both of us are thrilled to be teaming up again with comedy angels Kate Box, Madeleine Sami, Nina Oyama and Alicia Gardiner and we can't wait to work with a new bunch of cast members and some massive f------ crocodiles."
The first season, set in Tasmania, was a breakout success. Prime Video said the show ranked in the top 10 TV shows for more than 165 countries and territories including the US, UK and Canada in 2023.
The series won five AACTA Awards in 2024 including Best Acting in a Comedy for Kate Box and Best Screenplay in Television for Ms McCartney and Ms McLennan.
Filming begins in Queensland and the Northern Territory this year.
