An 18-year-old man has been charged with murder following the shooting death of a woman in Morayfield, north of Brisbane.

Police allege the man shot the 29-year-old woman just after midnight on January 28 inside a unit complex on Grant Road before he called triple zero.
Emergency services later found the woman with life-threatening injuries, and she died at the scene.
The man was later arrested at the property and was on Tuesday charged with murder and other offences, including possession of dangerous drugs and suspected stolen property.
Police allege the pair were known to each other.
The man was due to appear at Caboolture Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
