A set of knuckle dusters bearing the words "knuckle sandwich" in black pen has been found in a buried cache of weapons at a property on Sydney's semi-rural outskirts.

NSW Police arrested a 40-year-old man and charged him with 14 offences after attending his home at Buxton, southwest of Sydney, on Thursday to serve a firearms prohibition order.
During a subsequent search, police found several steel boxes buried at the property.
They contained the knuckle-dusters, which had the words "HUNGRY? Knuckle Sandwich" written on them, as well as a rifle, a 45-calibre pistol, a crossbow, knives and ammunition.
The man faces a string of charges, including seven counts of possessing or using a banned weapon without a permit.
He is also accused of possessing unauthorised guns and failing to keep firearms safely.
The man was refused bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Friday.
