Pricing starts from $111,000 before on-road costs and it will be offered in a single variant, with only the option of matte paint ($1000) and a glass Vision Roof ($2000).
Customers will have just 12 hours to pre-order the company's first all-electric N car.

The pre-sale will be open on Hyundai Australia's website from midday on September 15 and run until midnight.
A spokesperson from Hyundai Australia told CarExpert there is no cap to the number of pre-orders it will allow to be recorded during the 12-hour period. The company hasn't confirmed how many vehicles are in the first allocation.
To secure an Ioniq 5 N, customers will need to leave a $2000 deposit. There is a limit of one pre-order per household.

Customers who are lucky enough to secure a pre-order will receive two Hyundai N x Pelican cases and N merchandise including a torch.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N features a dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain with 448kW of power and 740Nm of torque.
There's also an 'N Grin Boost' (NGB) function that ups the outputs to 478kW and 770Nm for 10 seconds.

Hyundai claims the Ioniq 5 N can do the 0-100km/h sprint in 3.4 seconds when using the NGB function, and flat out you'll be doing 260km/h.
These two electric motors are fed by an 84kWh battery pack, which is the highest capacity battery Hyundai has ever offered in an electric vehicle (EV).
The Ioniq 5 N has an 800V electrical architecture and a maximum DC charging rate of 350kW. Hyundai claims when plugged into a 350kW DC fast-charger the Ioniq 5 N can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in 18 minutes.

In addition to the dual-electric motor powertrain, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N has a number of different modes and functions that allows it to live up to Hyundai N's three pillars – that it be a 'corner rascal', have racetrack capability, and yet also be an 'everyday supercar'.
This is 48kW and 30Nm more than the related Kia EV6 GT, and 239kW and 165Nm more than the dual-motor version of the regular Ioniq 5.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N will be available in Performance Blue Matte, Performance Blue, Abyss Black, Cyber Gray, Ecotronic Gray, Atlas White Matte, Atlas White, Gravity Gold Matte and Soultronic Orange.

The company's local arm will give "N-thusiasts" a taste of the Ioniq 5 N's performance at the World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney on September 1 and 2.
