Barbie dolls have become a collector's item in the decades of production by toy maker Mattel since the first doll debuted in 1959.
The dolls can attract eye-watering price tags with extra value for mint condition and rare editions.
A pre-owned 1959 Barbie doll is listed for $9000 on eBay by a seller in Melbourne.
While a Barbie released to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee is listed by various US sellers for between $1000 and $7500.
More recent Barbie releases still in their box are on offer for hundreds of dollars.

Collaborations with clothing brands including Cotton On and even a short-stay at the Barbie Malibu DreamHouse in the US are also part of the huge marketing campaign.
The oceanfront mansion decked out in pink is listed by Airbnb for two free overnight stays on the same weekend the movie hits cinema screens in the US.
The DreamHouse has been listed previously in 2019 but this time is being hosted by Ken.
On June 30 stars of the new film turned Sydney awash with pink for the Australian premiere with Robbie and director Greta Gerwig among the film's contingent.
The film opens in Australian cinemas on July 20.
