Aussies who are sharing their account with people outside of their household can expect to start hearing from the streaming giant from May 24.
"A Netflix account is for use by one household," Netflix said in a statement.
"Everyone living in that household can use Netflix wherever they are - at home, on the go, on holiday - and take advantage of new features like Transfer Profile and Manage Access and Devices."

It will now cost people an extra $7.99 a month if they want to share their account with someone outside of their household.
The change was flagged for widespread rollout after a trial in some South American countries.
The crackdown by Netflix includes blocking sign-ins from devices outside the account holder's WIFI range.
Announcing the change, Netflix acknowledged there were many entertainment choices for its customers.
"It's why we continue to invest heavily in a wide variety of new films and TV programmes - so whatever your taste, mood or language and whoever you're watching with, there's always something satisfying to watch on Netflix."
