Three road safety projects will be implemented in the state electorate of Heathcote with $1.4 million in federal government funding.

- Alfords Point Road at Menai will receive $1,073,283 for installation of a median barrier.
- Princes Highway off ramp at Waterfall will receive $134,160 to upgrade pram ramps.
- Sir Bertram Stevens Drive in the Royal National Park will receive $201,240 for Audio Tactile Centre line marking.
They are among 261 projects to be funded across NSW.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development Michael McCormack said the federal and state governments were working to have the projects completed by June.
Mr McCormack said funding for the Road Safety Program was subject to 'use it or lose it' provisions, requiring states and territories to use allocated funds within a timeframe, or the funds can be reallocated to projects in other jurisdictions.
