Like everyone in the entertainment industry, her busy schedule of work dried up overnight as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fisk went from having a successful career as a singer/dancer, performing on cruise ships and the like, to being out of work.
When the COVID pandemic hit, Fisk was in Malaysia working as a singer and dancer at a brand new theme park. After a four-week lockdown there, she made the difficult decision to come home and spent two weeks in quarantine before returning to live in Sutherland, where she found herself out of work.
She eventually found work at two local dance schools, Curves Gym at Sutherland and as a cafe supervisor at Audley Dance Hall & Cafe.
By the time restrictions started to ease, Lacinda was itching to get back on stage.
"I really needed to get my creative juices flowing and I could really see the potential in the space," she said
"I thought why not make my own work and put on a show - and what better venue than the very place I work at - Audley Dance Hall."
The result was Songs of Change, a cabaret show that celebrated the incredible women who used their artistry to make a difference.
Fisk, accompanied by Steven Kreamer, put together an evening of fine food, wonderful wine and magic musical moments.
The show was a sell-out and Fisk and Kreamer soon found themselves wondering what they could do next.
They set about co-producing Audley Carols, a magical night of fine food and festive cheer featuring a three-course dinner and entertainment by Fisk, Kreamer and some special guest singers who will present favourite Christmas songs.
"We are hoping to bring some Christmas cheer to the shire this holiday season as this year has been a tough one for all," Fisk said
"We are having a charity raffle going, as well as a lucky door prize. It's an 'all involved' night with a fun sing-along as well.
"You can also go in the running to win one of our fabulous prizes in our raffle. All the proceeds are going to the charity Keys Of Change, which brings music and joy to children and young people across the globe."
Fisk, who grew up in Menai, began dancing at the age of three and started singing lessons at 16.
By 18, she was performing regularly in local musical theatre productions before she embarked on an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts.
She went on to work for more than a year at Universal Studios Japan as a singer/dancer, then moved on to an eight-month stint on Regent Seven Seas cruise ship as it sailed the Mediterranean.
Fisk is passionate about social justice and was named Sutherland Shire Young Citizen of the Year in 2014 and NSW Sydney South Student Volunteer of Year in 2015 for her work with World Vision.
Audley Carols is on Friday, December 18, at Audley Dance Hall. Doors open at 6.30pm before the show starts at 7pm.
Tickets are $110, which includes a three-course set menu dinner and Christmas cocktail on arrival.
