Children and parents can once again splash around and have fun with the resumption of recreational swimming and play at Sutherland, Caringbah and Engadine leisure centres.

However, the water fun park at Sutherland Leisure Centre and Como pool remain closed.
Recreational swimming and plan remained banned even when pools reopened for lap swimming and fitness after the coronavirus shutdown.
The latest change was introduced on Monday this week.
No bookings are required, but pool capacity limits apply.

An update on when the water fun park at Sutherland Leisure Centre and Como pool will reopen is due to be provided "in coming weeks".
Sutherland Shire Council said before the school holidays facilities would be reopened progressively once they were "fully compliant with COVID Safe measures".
