Located in the recently refurbished and rebranded Eventhouse, formerly Rydges Cronulla, the menu focuses using quality local produce including freshly-shucked oysters from the nearby Woolooware Bay waters.
The Red Radish menu will change seasonally.
Innovative dishes include King Salmon Pokè with avocado and wasabi, topped with toasted sesame, crispy nori and jalapeño, Baby Beets Salad with ashed goats’ cheese, sticky salt baked beets and truffle oil atop a brioche soil.
There is also a Berkshire Free Range Pork Belly with baby carrots, local pears, radish, and crackling trickled with pan jus.
Feature dishes have names which are inspired by their surroundings including Passion on the Beach Pavlova, Summer Lamington, Beach House Club and the “Nulla” Steak Sandwich.
Popular dishes such as Fish and Chips and the Classic Cheeseburger promise to unapologetically outshine the usual hotel offering.
The all-important cocktail list is a fusion of ‘old meets new.’
A classic crowd-pleaser on a summer’s day receives an update with the Watermelon Chili Mojito, while the Tiki in the Shire is a white rum-based favourite topped with a flaming lime cup.
The curated wine list is built around refreshing whites and light to full-bodied reds from Australia and across the seas.
‘Nulla Natural’, a craft beer from Sydney Brewery, is designed specifically for Cronulla with Red Radish marked as the only Cronulla venue it can be found.
Part bar, part restaurant, Red Radish offers cutting-edge afternoon cocktails and a unique yet casual coastal dining experience with Cronulla Beach as a backdrop.
There is alfresco seating and surfer chic lounges paired with a progressive menu influenced by the sea.
The bar open daily from 4pm. Seating up to 48 guests, the restaurant opens mid-week from 6pm and weekends from 12:30pm, with a fresh daily buffet breakfast beginning at 6:30am throughout the week.
