Bluestone Property Solutions built the grounds, clubhouse and facilities.
Several community stakeholders use the new complex.
Bluestone Property Solutions funded the $3 million project and worked in partnership with Cronulla Sharks, Cronulla High School, Cronulla-Caringbah Junior Rugby League Club, Cronulla Water Polo Club, NSW Department of Education and Cronulla-Sutherland Junior Rugby League.
The project includes three fields, a clubhouse and the Sharks junior academy. Future plans include an aquatic centre for water polo.
The Cronulla-Caringbah club now has a new home at the school after shifting from their longtime headquarters at Endeavour Field at the end of last season to make way for the Sharks' Woolooware Bay development.
Cronulla-Caringbah president Scott Martin said it was a new era for the club and a positive for all clubs and sporting organisations in Sutherland Shire.
He said the club had more than 350 registered players and 18 teams this season.
"Cronulla High is a good playing and training venue for everyone in the shire," Martin said.
"It's good for the development of the Sharks and rugby league in general."
Cronulla Sutherland junior league secretary Judd O'Shea said everyone in the sporting community would benefit.
"It's good to see sporting facilities such as this built for our community," O'Shea said.
Rugby league games were not played over the Anzac Day weekend; Cronulla Sutherland junior and senior age competitions resume this Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3.
