ANDREW Kerr of Cronulla has received the OAM for service to the community and to water polo.

The Olympian captained the Australian men's water polo team in 1988 and was a team member in 1976, 1980 and 1984.
He was also captain of the 1986 water polo world championship, and 1994-98 a volunteer assistant coach for the Australian women's water polo team. For years he captained the NSW men's water polo team.
He has been a volunteer with the Rainbow Club for more than 22 years, providing swimming lessons for children with a disability.
"There is a great deal of satisfaction from the seeing the kids and athletes, grow and develop and reach their potential," Mr Kerr said.
