The inaugural Cronulla Endless Summer Festival at Gunnamatta Park from Friday, December 27, to Sunday, December 29, has been dubbed the "soundtrack of the shire" by organisers.
The free event will bring Sydney bands Bluejuice, Amy Meredith and the Preatures to the stage alongside a host of other acts, with many more to be announced.
The energetic line-up boasts a diversity of musical styles with a mix of local bands, trendy independent artists, DJs and hip-hop artists.
Festival producer Stacie Colwell said the event would bring together great music, food, wine and arts.
She said the festival would be the shire's answer to the Manly Food and Wine Festival or Bondi's Sculpture by the Sea.
"Every big city in Sydney has its festival and Cronulla is just as big and just as beautiful, with just as much to offer," Ms Colwell said.
"We are hoping the festival will capture people staying local and visitors in town for the holidays.
"We want everyone to take notice of Cronulla."
Ms Colwell said artists would create live installations, including tree-top chandeliers hanging from the trees. Food and wine will be on sale, with Foodie Deli Cafe, Love Crepe and The Old Library and others setting up food stalls.
The festival will run daily from noon until 8pm.
